This two day workshop is open to both experienced pastelists and oil painters. We will be painting outdoors - en plein air - both mornings, then creating studio paintings in the afternoon from our morning's work. This is a great way to observe your subject, colors, and values - then learn to evaluate and transform those en plein air works to successful studio pieces. Hours will be 9:00 AM to 4 PM with a break for lunch. Please plan to meet at 8:30 at the designated location, so that we are painting by 9:00 AM. I look forward to painting with you! You will be painting with the supplies you normally use. I will have supplemental oils and pastels for you to experiment with.
